One of the greatest thing in life is finding ones gift. For some it takes a lifetime, for others, a natural process. It is up to us to listen and pay attention to the signs. Always remember, “Tomorrow is a new day for new opportunities.”
Ginna Pollock aka Love Gives Art undoubtedly lives expressing her passion of her artistic gift.
I first learned about Ginna while visiting Casa Corazon for taco Tuesday. I have always believe people enter your life for a reason, I had an immediate connection with her art. It’s one of a kind pieces that are vibrant and colorful! A reflection of her Colombian roots and inspired by Mexican art. Ginnas art has no boundaries. From use of objects in her pieces, to the upcycle wearable art she creates. She has such a style and range, you can feel the positive enmotion she has poured into her work. A beautiful and organic reflection of herself. My connection with this particular artist started with the noticeable passion that goes into every piece perfectly done while remaining modest. “I want to share my gift with people and inspire them.” she told me.
In addition to her artistic gift, Ginna is a great human, she advocates for single moms and kids who live in under-resourced communities. She helps raise funds for Every Kid AZ Gala which happens every year in phoenix. The event helps single moms and their children attend Young Lives Camps, a place where these families can find a message of hope through religious teachings.
Ginnas artwork can be found throughout the city at Carly's Bistro, Buzz Beans, Shaneland Arts, Composite Boutique, and the Grand Project. I own a pair of Chuck's she personally hand painted for me (pic below). For me, her art was LOVE at first sight.
